Kate Parsons and her love for capturing the mundane

Kate Parsons is a 22-year-old Taiwanese-Australian Photographer and Journalist, based in Tulmur (Ipswich) and Magandjin (Brisbane). Currently, she studies a double degree in Journalism and Arts, majoring in Peace and Conflict Studies, and is an avid film photographer. Below are some of her works.

“I think the little intimate moments that we share between people, the little interactions between our universes are so little and so brief and once they’re gone, they’re gone.”

“You can think about it all you want but you can’t have it back, so being able to share the moments and capture the feelings that exist there for such a temporary, brief period of time is a really special thing.”

“Because like I was saying, they don’t really mean anything unless we ascribe meaning to it and see it and capture it."
